AN evening of entertainment in Marsden is set to raise cash for Kirkwood Hospice in Dalton.
Marsden Socialist Club is hosting the event on April 25 from 3pm.
Huddersfield sing- ers John Alexander, Louise Shannon and Sarah Jay will perform, along with Brighouse vocalist George Wood and a Stalybridge singer who is known simply as Lynette.
A sixth act is to be confirmed.
There will also be a raffle of prizes donated by Marsden businesses and residents.
A donation is required for entry to the event and all proceeds will go to the hospice.
Bill Hunter, concert secretary at the club, organised the event.
He said: "I have never organised a charity night before. We talked about it at the club one night and decided we wanted to help a local charity."
