AN all-faith conference to tackle racism takes place at Huddersfield Quaker Meeting House on March 15.

The event, organised by the Northern Friends Peace Board, aims to discuss how peaceful relations can be promoted among all ethnic, religious and non-religious communities.

The afternoon session includes workshops on issues such as responding to extremism and asylum seekers. There will also be a workshop for people aged 11 to 16.

Tickets are £10 (waged), £5 (low income) and free (no income) including a vegetarian lunch.

Bookings can be made by sending a cheque payable to Northern Friends Peace Board to Philip Austin, NFPB, Victoria Hall, Knowsley Street, Bolton, BL1 2AS.
