A FUNDRAISING event was held to raise cash for a charity that helps people suffering from migraines.

The day, held at Paddock Village Hall, featured a range of stalls organised by local businesses and organisations.

The stalls included a raffle, refreshments, face painting, henna tattoos and jewellery by local designer Bex Bardon.

There were also information stalls organised by Kirklees Warm Zone and Up and Coming, a community employment agency, and an auction which had Huddersfield Giants tickets for sale.

The event raised money for the Migraine Action Association, which helps migraine sufferers by providing them with information and supporting further research into its causes, diagnosis and treatment.
