A MUSIC video competition is being launched in West Yorkshire.
The two-week 20/20/2Vision contest begins on Monday.
Twenty film-makers and 20 musicians from all over West Yorkshire - including Huddersfield - have been selected to compete.
The musicians and film-makers will have just a fortnight to produce a top-class music video in and around Leeds.
It will be judged by a panel of music industry experts.
Prizes on offer for the winners include a showcasing of the video at the Leeds Carling Festival in August, two days of studio time and production work at Host Media and the chance to create a fly-on-the-wall documentary for Leeds band Four Day Hombre - whose drummer Mark `Ash' Ashwell is from Huddersfield.
The identities of the 40 contestants is set to be revealed on Monday at the competition launch at The Faversham in Leeds.
At the launch, the musicians will perform a selection of their work and film-makers will screen short films.
Joel McKay is creative director of arts-stra, the organisers of the 20/20/2Vision contest.
He said: "There's so much film-making and musical talent in Yorkshire that we decided to devise a concept that would combine the two.
"We are overjoyed at the response from participants and the industry."
