A FORMER children's home house master and the ex director of Calderdale social services has been charged with a series of sex offences against teenage boys.
Rod Ryall, 67, of Mirfield, is accused of 13 offences, some dating back more than 40 years.
He is charged with indecent assault and gross indecency against two boys at a school in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, and a boy in West Yorkshire.
He is due to appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court on 15 October.
