This year the 2009 competition has attracted a staggering number of entries with 408 baby photogrpahs to choose from.

This year's overall winner will receive the main prize of a 20x16 inch portrait worth £275 donated by John Woods Photography, plus the prestigious engraved Baby of the Year to keep for a year.

The second prize is a 15x12 inch portrait, worth £225.

The third prize is a 15x12 inch portrait, worth £225.

Baby of the Year attracts entries from all over the Huddersfield area and is eligible for children up to three years old on the date the competition finished.
