THE EXAMINER’S £50,000 Cash Giveaway is on the move!
A fleet of 30 First buses are now decked out in posters advertising the offer.
And they will be driving through the streets of Huddersfield over the next two weeks to help promote the scheme.
A share of the £50,000 is on offer to community groups, mainly run by volunteers.
The cash comes from a pot of Government money called Grassroots Grants and the £50,000 is managed by the Community Foundation for Calderdale, specifically for Huddersfield.
Groups can apply for up to a maximum of £900 and groups that applied last year can apply again this time.
Applying is easy and can be done online via the Examiner website at www.examiner.co.uk/communitycash and an application form will be printed in next week’s Examiner Weekly News.
Forms can be picked up from the Examiner’s customer reception on Queen Street South.
The deadline is Saturday, February 27.
