SUPERMARKET staff are preparing to get pedalling to raise money for a Huddersfield charity.

A team of four cyclists from M&S Simply Food, Waterloo, will be getting on their bikes for the Examiner Charity Challenge tomorrow.

They will be joining hundreds of other walkers, cyclists, horse riders, wheelchair users and buggy pushers raising cash for dozens of different causes.

The M&S team are aiming to raise £300 for the Joseph Salmon Trust in the 18.5 mile mountain bike circuit.

The main event kicks off between 8.30am and 11am at Lepton Highlanders Sports and Social Club.

It will be the first year the huge fundraiser, organised by Lions clubs across Huddersfield and the Examiner, has been held at the new site, off Wakefield Road at Lepton.

All entrants – apart from the wheelchair and buggy push in Beaumont Park between 10am and 12pm – will start there.
