It was poetic justice of a sort.

A car park firm being evicted for allegedly not paying its bills.

Euro Car Parks, a huge multi-national firm, was given a dose of its own medicine when bailiffs turned up to turf it off its Huddersfield premises on Tuesday.

Across the country, newspapers are regularly filled with tales of motorists who claim they have been unfairly given tickets by car parking firms.

And Examiner readers have been quick to highlight the irony of the situation.

One simply put: “KARMA”.

Another ironically said: “So does their bill double since it wasn’t paid in the 14 days?” He added: “They do it on a daily basis to other motorists so about time they get a “ticket” too.”

Another reader remarked: “Pity they didnt get chance to clamp the Euro Car Parks vehicles; that would be justice!”

The Examiner asked Euro Car Parks why it hadn’t paid its debts but it has so far not responded.
