A TALK about one of Yorkshire's top beauty spots is to take place in Huddersfield.

The Yorkshire Wolds are the most northerly outcrop of soft, white limestone in Britain.

Another claim to fame is that they have just one stream, the Gypsy Race.

Bradford University professor Terry O'Connor will explain the strange phenomenon of how water shaped the Wolds in How Wet Was My Valley? at the university at 7.15pm tomorrow.

The talk has been organised by Geographical Association. It will be in Room T5/10 in the Technology Building.

All are welcome. Visitors pay £2.
