FIRE crews were called to a fire which ruptured a gas pipe in Keldregate, Bradley, on Saturday.
Crews from Brighouse attended the blaze at 3.15pm.
Someone had deliberately set fire to a bin and put it outside the front door of a family home on the street.
The bin had melted and flames had spread and ruptured a gas pipe.
Fire crews led the family, including two children, from the house, while they put out the flames.
Emergency staff from National Grid attended and fixed the gas pipe.
