YOUNG Town fan Joshua Elgie is a very special supporter.
The four-year-old turned up at the Galpharm Stadium with mum Fiona to pick up a season ticket for the new campaign.
So imagine his delight when he found out he was the 10,000th supporter to buy a ticket under the club’s fantastic cut-price offer, which is offering tickets for as little as £100 up to May 23.
Joshua was presented with a special Town shirt by delighted chairman Ken Davy.
The pair are pictured with Joshua’s mum Fiona, six-month-old sister Aimee, and ticket office staff.
Sales of the new tickets have now soared past the 11,000 mark.
More than half the fans who have snapped up the cut-price tickets are new season-ticket buyers so club staff are hoping to see even more taken up by former season ticket holders in the next two weeks.
And they have been delighted, too, by news that fans from abroad have been buying the tickets.
They have sold them to supporters in France, Kuwait, the Netherlands, the Channel Islands and now Australia!
One exiled Town fan has bought a £100 ticket which is being dispatched to his new home in Cairns, in Queensland.
