CROWDS flocked to the Ponderosa Rare Breeds Farm for its Christmas Market.

The Heckmondwike farm welcomed Father Christmas and two of his reindeer to meet the visitors.

There was fun and games for all the family and all proceeds went towards the upkeep of the farm, which is home to llamas, wallabies and tropical snakes.

Two of the younger visitors were Cody France (left) and Hayley Peel, who are seen with stable manager Liz Brennan and Digby the cob.

Organiser Nicola Cook said: "Over the last few years we have always held two or three Christmas events.

"This year we decided to merge all the events into one and make a real fun-packed day, with lots of festive spirit and music for everyone.

"We had a market, raffle, games, stalls a craft workshop for kids, carols and roast chestnuts with mulled wine."
