A FASHION show at Lindley has raised £780 for charity Save The Children.

The fashion show was held at Dress for Less clothing store in Lindley, which also provided outfits for the event.

The show was organised by the Huddersfield committee for Save The Children.

It was the first time Dress for Less has raised money for the children's charity, although the store holds two fashion shows a year for various causes.

Over the past five years, £18,000 has been raised for charity.

Dress for Less owner Vicky Hall said: "I would like to thank the Save The Children committee. I admire them because they are all volunteers and put in a lot of hard work."
