A NINE-MONTH-OLD baby was found lifeless in the bath at a Huddersfield house, an inquest heard.
Ebonie Alaiyah Smith was found by her father at a house in Ruskin Grove, Sheepridge on Thursday, May 1, the Bradford hearing was told.
She was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, where she was pronounced dead just before 8.30pm. The inquest, which was opened and adjourned, heard that the cause of her death was consistent with drowning.
