A TRICKSTER conned her way into an 87-year-old man’s home to steal his cash.

The woman knocked on the victim’s door on Round Ings Road, Outlane, at 2.15pm on Saturday and asked if his house was for sale.

When he told her it wasn’t she asked for a drink of water and they went into his kitchen.

While in there the woman’s male accomplice crept into the lounge and stole cash.

She is white, aged about 40 and 6ft tall.

She has long, straight, dark hair and wore a dark jacket with sparkles on it, dark trousers and black leather boots.

Her accomplice is aged 35 to 40 and is 5ft 6in tall and slim.

He was said to be scruffy and dirty-looking.

A police spokesman said: “Did this couple go to any other homes in the area? Did anyone see if they were in a vehicle?”
