THERE will be a feast of Christmas merriment in Dewsbury Museum and the surrounding Crow Nest Park on Sunday, December 11.

The museum and the Friends of Crow Nest Park support group have got together once again to provide festive fun from 1pm to 4pm.

Children will be able to have a go at Christmas craft activities, including make festive decorations, and listen to seasonal stories.

They will also be able to visit Santa in his grotto after he arrives by classic car.

The Grange Moor Brass Band will provide festive music and there will be a display of vintage vehicles by the Yorkshire Classic Car Club.

This is the eighth year of the popular event. Admission is free but there will be a charge of £1 to visit Santa's grotto, with proceeds going to the Friends group.
