A FILM-MAKER has made the final shortlist for an NHS film competition.
Huddersfield man James McGuire entered the competition which encourages people to sign up to the Organ Donor Register, with his film ‘Craig’.
The judging panel will include Radio 1’s Edith Bowman and will be announced in the run up to National Transplant Week (July 9-15) at a ceremony in London. The winner will receive £1,000 worth of camera equipment to help their film career.
Edith Bowman said: “I was overwhelmed by the level of film making in these inspiring films. They show real heart and creativity.”
