IT’S the final countdown in the Examiner’s Schools – Collect for Cash competition.

Schools have just a few days to gather together their newspaper and online tokens which have been collected by pupils, families and friends and be in with the chance of grabbing a share of a massive £10,000 kindly donated by Barclays.

The deadline for us to receive all of your tokens is Monday October 26 at 5pm.

The Examiner office closes at 5pm so you will not be able to drop them off after this time.

The tokens will be counted by hand, so we would appreciate it if you could make sure each token (or pack of tokens) are clearly marked with the name of your school.

Once you have your sack ready, either drop them into the Examiner office or you can post them to: Schools – Collect for Cash Competition, Trinity Mirror Huddersfield, Queen Street South, Huddersfield,

HD1 3DU.

During the October half-term we will be busy counting your tokens and will announce the winners as soon as possible.

The cash will then be divided into five prizes of £3,000, £2,500, £2,000, £1,500 and £1,000.

The donation from Barclays is part of its Community Programme.
