A COMPANY hit by a devastating fire has set up a new base in Huddersfield.
Decosol, which makes car care products, has moved into the Calder Valley Trading Estate at Lower Quarry Road, Bradley.
The switch comes after a huge blaze destroyed the firm's old premises at Shelf, near Halifax, on February 22.
Bosses said they had managed to save a large amount of stock and were able to supply orders almost as normal.
A new production system is to be installed at Bradley.
Twenty-nine people work for the firm.
Managing director Geoff France said the entire computer system had been destroyed by the fire.
"Our customer data- base and order records are now restored, which means we are very much back in business - and even a canteen is up and running," he said.
At the height of the Shelf blaze, more than 120 firefighters fought the flames.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
