A WOMEN-only health and fitness club will reopen on Saturday, almost four months after a serious fire.

Reviva in King Street was badly damaged by the blaze in October last year.

The fire affected the second and third floors of the building.

The Abbey bank on the ground floor of the building also had to close on the morning after the blaze because of ceiling damage.

Jan Broome, head of Reviva's marketing department, said the opening on Saturday between 10am and 6pm aimed to welcome existing members back and new members in.

"The club now has a bright, airy new look and we've added a steam room and low-impact body-toning machines," she said.

"We're also planning some great new studio classes and a series of weight management courses."

A new active anti-ageing class in Huddersfield will also be dedicated to the total wellbeing of over 40s women.

Reviva also has a new website at: www.revivahealthclubs.co.uk.
