STAFF at a firm providing electrical heating and cooling products are warming up for a charity run.
The eight-strong team from Fired Up Group, based at St Thomas’ Road, Longroyd Bridge, will take part in the Sheffield half-marathon, which takes place on April 25.
The runners, led by chief executive Richard Kaye, have been in training since the start of the year and aim to raise lots of money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Marketing assistant Alice Birch, who is also taking part, said: “We wanted to do something together and at the same time support a great cause.
“We will start the race as a team, but I am sure the competitive instinct will kick in!”
The rest of the team comprises Isobell Holling, Andrew Wallace, Michael Puszynski, Lee Isherwood, Brian Hunter and Jonathan Bradley.
Fired Up also owns the business interests of John Corby, famous throughout the world for its trouser presses.
