Police flooded Dewsbury Moor this morning after reports of a man brandishing a Samurai sword in Beckett Crescent.
A 27-year-old man was subsequently arrested following the call to police at 2.30am and is being held in police custody.
Officers carried out an extensive search of the property and surrounding area and located what is believed to be a firearm in a garden.
A further four men were arrested at around 8am this morning and are also in in custody. No sword has been located.
No-one was injured and enquires are ongoing.
