FLAVOURS of Yorkshire will be on the menu for a new campaign.
More than 50 food and drink producers are backing the launch of Deliciouslyyorkshire, a brand designed to promote the region's best quality products.
The Regional Food Group for Yorkshire and Humberside, the development agency Yorkshire Forward and the Food from Britain group are behind the launch, to be held on Thursday in Tadcaster.
Campaign organisers say Yorkshire's traditional food and drink attracts many tourists each year.
David Andrews, chief executive of the Yorkshire Tourist Board, said: "Some 42% of holidaymakers seek local specialities and 34% look for local produce when on holiday."
Yorkshire food and drink will be in the spotlight on April 3 and 4 at the Royal Armouries in Leeds.
There will be a cookery demonstration, food sampling, beer tasting and Easter- themed cooking activities.
