Runners are gearing up for a colourful challenge in Farnley Tyas this afternoon.
The Forget Me Not Hospice colour run will take place at 2pm, with 1,000 people signed up for the 5km event.
The event is part of the Children’s Hospice’s 2016 effort to raise £3.8million to continue caring and providing support for children with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Lucy Burnett, Events Manager at Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice said: “We are really excited to be launching our first ever Colour Run for 2016.
“These events are a fantastic spectacle to be a part of and we can’t wait to see our wonderful runners covered in paint.”
Our reporter Robert Sutcliffe is at Farnley Tyas for the technicolour fun and will be bringing you the latest pictures and video as the race gets underway.
