EX-SERVICEMEN who served in Malaya or Borneo are being invited to reunite.
Huddersfield people who served between 1948 and 1960 are being encouraged to join a group dedicated to a "forgotten body of men".
The National Malaya and Borneo Association is open to men and women who served in the Royal Navy, the Army, the Royal Air Force and the Fleet Air Arm during the Malaysian Emergency.
The group meets at the Ex-Services Club in Headingley, Leeds, and offers support to those involved in the conflict.
It also organises public occasions dedicated to the memory of those who served.
For further information about the group call 01245 495238 or write to the National Malaya and Borneo Veterans Association, 44 Meadgate Avenue, Chelmsford, CM2 7LQ.
