Foster carers offered advice to prospective carers at a tea party

FOSTER carers offered advice to prospective carers at a tea party, at St Patrick’s Centre.

The event, organised by Kirklees Fostering Network, included advice as well as tea and cakes, followed by a party for foster families.

Network chairperson Colleen Callaghan said: “We got two people coming forward to become foster carers and we had over 100 people come to the party afterwards.”
