ALMONDBURY Wesleyans Cricket Club and Fostering Solutions hosted a fun day at the club.
The day aimed to encourage more people to become foster parents.
Elland-based Fostering Solutions is Wesleyans’ sponsor for 2009 and uses the club for weekly meetings, fostering support and training.
Wesleyans chairman Mark Binns said: “We are working with Fostering Solutions to develop a programme of events built around cricket and Almondbury which will raise their profile and support their work.
“Interested families should come along on Saturday, get some information about a really rewarding career whilst their kids watch the cricket and have some fun.”
