The four men were arrested in connection with the offences where victims were approached by the suspects asking for change for a £2 coin. All have now been released on bail.

Det Con Victoria Catania said: “Following our ongoing investigation into a series of robberies in the Kirklees district, we have now obtained some rings which we believe are stolen.

“If anyone recognises these rings or has any information about their owners, please could you contact me via 101 as we are keen to reunite this jewellery with their rightful owners.”
