FREE car parking will be made available in Huddersfield - in time for the sales.
Kirklees Council is providing the seasonal boost for shoppers heading into town for the start of the sales.
All parking on streets and in Kirklees car parks will be free on Monday December 27, Tuesday December 28, Saturday January 1 and Monday January 3.
Sunday parking is free as usual on Sunday January 2.
Clr Ann Denham, Kirklees Council Cabinet member for environment and transportation said: "We welcome shoppers coming to Huddersfield to take advantage of the many end of year and New Year sales."
Tony Coletta, of Huddersfield Town Centre Association, said: "We are extremely grateful to the council for offering this concession.
"It is a great boost to the town and should encourage people to doubly benefit during the sales period in Huddersfield."
