IF YOU have difficulty getting to grips with “social media” help is at hand.
A free surgery takes place on Monday, January 24 from 4.30pm to 7pm at Cafe Ollo at Huddersfield Media Centre.
It is suitable for anyone involved in a group which could benefit from using blogs, text messages, Facebook and Twitter.
It is particularly useful if you have a website which is difficult or expensive to maintain and can promote events, raise funds, collect feedback from their participants and keep a record of everything the group does.
The free advice sessions are being organised by Huddersfield Social Media, a group of local volunteers which uses media technology to help people accomplish things in their neighbourhoods.
