HUDDERSFIELD Town chairman Dean Hoyle has completed the sale of his Card Factory retail business.
The Wakefield-based firm, which has about 430 stores, has been sold for £350m to London private equity firm Charterhouse.
The long-expected deal which nets 42-year-old Mr Hoyle a multi-million pound windfall, was completed last night and sees Charterhouse take a majority stake in Card Factory with the existing management continuing to run the business.
