A WOMAN was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after she was hit by a car.

A WOMAN was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after she was hit by a car.

She was walking on Alandale Road near the junction with Bradley Road in Bradley at around 7.28am when the incident happened, West Yorkshire Police have said.

The casualty, thought to be in her 30s, was rushed to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.

West Yorkshire Police say it is too early to know how serious her condition is.

Traffic is still flowing down Bradley Road, but parts of the street are closed off as police investigate what happened.
