RAVENSTHORPE man Desmond Lee has today been found guilty of murder and jailed for life.

Lee, 39, was convicted of killing Christopher Pratt by a jury at Leeds Crown Court.

The defendant, of Sackville Street killed the victim during drug-fuelled sex last August.

He later wrapped the victim’s body in a bin liner, bundled it into Mr Pratt’s car, drove to Scammonden and dumped it off New Hey Road. Shortly afterwards he went cruising the streets for sex.

The honourable Mrs Justice Nicola Davies said in sentencing Lee: "In the circumstances, the order which I propose to make is a whole life order - that is exactly what it sounds like.

"Life in your case should mean life."
