DEAN Hoyle this afternoon announced the formation of a new charity aiming to make a difference to young people in Huddersfield.
He launched the Huddersfield Town foundation at an event at North Huddersfield Trust School.
The overall aim of the Huddersfield Town Foundation is to help improve the quality of life for young people across Huddersfield and the West Yorkshire area.
One of the first aims the Town chairman hopes the new organisation can tackle is giving kids a great start to the day.
Scheduled to start in September 2012, ‘Early Kick-Off’ aims to provide kids in the Kirklees administrative area with a complimentary healthy breakfast for a full school year.
Initially the scheme will directly benefit 50 pupils at six specially selected primary schools throughout the full 39 week academic year.
