A BUS burst into flames in Lepton this afternoon.
The service, heading from Lepton to Huddersfield, was carrying a number of passengers when the fire started at around 2pm.
The bus driver managed to get everyone off the bus safely at the Paul Lane junction of Wakefield Road.
The fire engulfed the vehicle completely destroying it.
The fire service attended and brought the blaze under control.
The cause of the fire has not been confirmed but it is believed to have started in the engine.
