A FUN day was held at Huddersfield Bus Station.

Passengers enjoyed live music, face painting and a tombola all in aid of the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.

The Mayor of Kirklees and Metro deputy chairman Clr Eric Firth officially started the party and helped out during the day.

Rock band Helter Skelter entertained crowds with a host of musical gems.

Isis belly dancers from the Tristan Studio shimmied along the concourse while children were magically transformed in to tigers and superheroes by face-painters

Bus station manager Helen Schofield said: “We are confident this year’s event was as successful as previous bus station fun days”.
