FAMILIES flocked to a fundraising day in Outlane at the weekend.

The Fun Day was staged at the Lee Hill Riding School and included fun activities for people of all ages.

There was a giant bungee run, rodeo bull, twister, bouncy castle and birds of prey.

The entertainment ran through into the evening with music and singing.

Money raised was split between the Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team and the British Heart Foundation.

Samantha Falk, who helped organise the event, said that both charities were close to the hearts of villagers.
