A MAMMOTH charity fun day is planned for the Yorkshire Victoria at Lockwood on Sunday May 28.

The day will be in aid of the Myasthenia Gravis Association's Huddersfield Support Group.

It will feature sumo wrestling, a bucking bull, tug of war and even a giant table top 5-a-side football competition, using real players strapped to poles!

There will be a range of raffles, attractions and live music from a local band.

Food will also be available from Legends Diner.

Myasthenia Gravis is a muscle weakness disease that has no known cure and can prove fatal.

Huddersfield branch secretary Sue Johnson from Netherthong said: "I would like to thank Barry and Karen and everybody at the Yorkshire Victoria for their support.

"All money raised will be used locally to support sufferers of this very nasty disease."
