HANDMADE cushions, handbags and knitted toys, were among items on sale at Southgate Methodist Church.
Pat Ambler, of Salendine Nook, was invited along to the church in Elland, to sell her knitted teddy bears.
She said: “It was very enjoyable and there was a very friendly crowd there.’’
Among the stall holders were Petra Baker and Angela Linley selling ornate cushions.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Calderdale, Conrad and Hilary Winterburn, officially opened the event.
