COLNE Valley Museum delivered a weekend of wonderful sights and smells at its popular bread-making and craft event.

The weekend of entertainment for the whole family at the Golcar-based museum, included a variety of demonstrations.

On show were clogging, spinning, weaving, rag-rug making, pastel drawing and lace making.

Families got into the Easter spirit with egg painting and card making for children. The delicious aroma of freshly-baked bread wafted through the museum as volunteers demonstrated the art of making the perfect loaf.

Visitors discovered the ancient paper-rolling art of quilling, which dates back to ancient Egypt and which was popular with the Bronte sisters.

Ancient corn crafts, such as the art of making corn dollies were also demonstrated.
