CARING young people have received a cash boost for their organisation.
The Kirklees Young Carers group received £900 from two charities.
Money was raised at the 133rd annual Longwood Sing, held in September, which raised £556.
And Longwood Bowling Club, raised £344 at a series of charity concerts organised in memory of Ian Fearn.
Longwood Sing has traditionally raised money for local medically related charities and wanted to help the Kirklees Young Carers, who may face financial hardship as a result of caring for relatives.
