THE funeral of a woman found dead in a Huddersfield canal will be held tomorrow.
The body of Joyce Pitter was discovered in Huddersfield Broad Canal on November 29.
The 32-year-old, who had been missing for several days, was found in the canal close to Red Doles Road, Fartown.
Her funeral will be Christ Church, Woodhouse Hill, on Thursday followed by burial at Almondbury cemetery.
A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death as drowning and police say there are no suspicious circumstances.
Miss Pitter lived on Blackhouse Road in Fartown.
The matter has now been passed to the coroner and an inquest will be held.
