CRUSADERS coach John Dixon is hoping playing at Murrayfield will bring the very best out of his side.

The Australian, who spent a decade working alongside legendary coach Wayne Bennett at Brisbane Broncos, is looking to guide his side to a first Super League victory at the 11th attempt.

His side came very close at home to Castleford Tigers last weekend (they eventually lost 34-22 after leading 16-12 at half-time), and he is hoping that playing on such a big stage against the Giants on Sunday will tip the balance his side’s way.

“This will be the biggest occasion the club has ever been part of and the players are keen to get out there,” said the former schoolteacher.
