A GANG of men forced their way into an Almondbury house during the night and attacked a man living there.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the robbery on at 12.15am on January 25. 

Three men forced their way into the house on Town End and demanded cash and property from the 35-year old man at the address. 

They assaulted the man, leaving him with cuts and bruises and left taking only his mobile phone. 

The suspects left the area in a silver hatchback or estate car. 

The suspects were three men in their late teens to mid-twenties, of medium build and between 5ft 6in to 5ft 9in tall. 

Two of the suspects were wearing dark hooded tops. The third wore a lighter grey hooded top. 

All wore scarves over their faces and spoke with local accents.
