Gaynor Barnes of Calendar to open breast-feeding support group in Mirfield

A NEWSREADER will officially open a breast-feeding support group.

Gaynor Barnes from ITV’s Calendar will launch the Baby Bistro on Wednesday next week. The group will meet at Mirfield Sure Start Children’s Centre at St Andrew’s Church every Wednesday from 10am to 11.30am.

Baby Bistro will provide a relaxed atmosphere for mums to meet and also get advice from trained supporters, all of whom have breast-fed babies.

There are also baby bistros at the National Children’s Centre on New North Parade, Huddersfield, and Golcar Children’s Centre on Beech Avenue.
