General Election 2010: The anti-Tory voter’s view from Honley

THE Conservatives scare me. David Cameron and everything he stands for frighten me.

The important issues for me are the economy and the health service. I’ve voted Labour in the past and I’ll be voting for them again.

I wouldn’t consider voting for any of the other local candidates.

I think Labour are the best of a bad bunch, but I’m not that happy with them, I think they’re in a muddle.

Gordon Brown means well but I’m not a massive fan of his.

I’m not keen on Nick Clegg. I think he’s all bluff and bluster.

I’ve been following the election campaign – it’s been hard to avoid it.

I watched bits of the leaders’ debates and I wasn’t terribly impressed. They seemed like kids squabbling in the playground.
