A FORMER schools minister met parents and young children yesterday.
Labour’s David Blunkett, who served as Secretary of State for Education from 1997 to 2001, called in at Denby Dale Sure Start Centre yesterday afternoon.
The Sheffield MP was joined by Dewsbury MP Shahid Malik.
Denby Dale was part of Wakefield but has now been transferred to the Dewsbury constituency.
