FORMER Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott hit the campaign trail in Kirklees at the weekend.
The outspoken Labour MP visited Dewsbury and Cleckheaton. He arrived on the Prescott Express as part of his tour of key marginal seats in the north. Along with Labour’s candidate for Batley and Spen, Mike Wood, and Dewsbury MP Shahid Malik, Mr Prescott spoke to voters in the two towns on Saturday.
