General election 2010: The undecided voter’s view from Batley and Spen

I HAVEN’T voted for a long time, because I don’t think we have much choice around here. When I did vote in the past it was usually for the Conservatives, but that was a long time ago, before Thatcher.

I think that the longer a government is in power, the sleazier it becomes.

I might vote Lib Dem this time, just to see if they can make a difference. I don’t think they will, but it’s worth giving them a chance.

I’m concerned about the quality of the people we’re immigrating into this country – I don’t think a lot of them are cost-effective.
